Description another late night doodle..idea kinda stemmed from my speedpaint from earlier. A giant goblin mine/fortress. I suppose these goblins are rather sophisticated in the use of large pulley systems and scaffolding.....or they make the dumb trolls lift the heavy things....idk. enjoy!

I've mentioned this before, but it's such a pleasure seeing you grow as an artist! These speedpaints are stunning! Is there a process you go through when you're working on these? What do you usually 'see' for these scenes/images?

aww thanks typically for these speed paints or most of my stuff in general I dont have anything in mind really...I just throw paint down, lines or shapes or values they all start building and showing me different things I can do, gives me ideas as the paintings develops. keeping things simple in the beginning def helps. just focusing on composition and sexy shapes

Sometimes I have a general Idea and I start with that but its usually the same process, just letting things happen.

Thanx think for past few months ive been working on lighting...som im glad its showing....now to work on everything else haha! Glad you like it...even tho its really rough haha. one of those times when a sketch becomes something a little more.
