For those of you who are late to this long-running saga, this is the backstory of Joe "Joey" the Bisharp's parents. Yup.

And this is the last page of Chapter 3 of Rallen and Jody, in which they successfully form Rogue Team SF-169 Fusion Bolt! When I originally thought of this sequence last summer, they actually weren't going to have a name at all (because I sucked at coming up with more names than I deemed necessary at the time), so it's a good thing that I've had time to come up with such a hilarious name for them! Here, you also see a few more cute Planet Paion stuff, such as their writing system (how it differs from Tao World writing, anyway), and a camera that ended up looking like some sort of Iphone. Then again, it makes sense, since Iphones can take pictures last time I checked.

The sequence with Patch the Machamp could have easily been a cute one-shot comic not part of the main story, but I thought I'd include it in as the beginning of the next chapter in which Jody has a ridiculously difficult time (even more ridiculously difficult than me!) adjusting to Tao Village life. My reasoning behind why she had no idea Fighting-types do 4x damage to her species is because her tribe always knew to instinctively steer clear of Fighting-type tribes...and they usually travel in areas where there are no Fighting-types to begin with. At any rate, it's a humorous way to show how Fighting < Psychic < Dark/Steel and back again, and how it's practically the new Grass < Fire < Water loop. (And yes, that Patch the Machamp IS Lipless' dad. In a way, you can see how he is, given his chatspeak speech pattern, a type I haven't resorted to since back in Team Pecha and the Echoes of Time.)

This is also the last page I already had laid out ahead of time. Turned out it was a good idea to occupy myself with these, as now my collaborations for Mission 8 are finally getting underway! I should be able to create the first 4 pages of the collab before waiting for ~CrimsonAngelofShadow 's contributions. Look forward to it!
