Yesterday, commuters at Fugue Street were taken by surprise when an unnamed woman in purple lingerie and stockings appeared out of thin air and subsequently disappeared from the scene without further explanation.

Eye-witnesses, however, claim that the woman had some sort of odd skin condition that gave her the appearance of a grey-furred canine. A video recording of the incident has been circulating virally around the internet, although experts have overwhelming denounced it as a convincing deep fake.

The Fable City Police Department has since shared with reporters that the situation was merely a costume manufacturer's publicity stunt that went awry, and has urged the public not to speculate further on the incident.
