Confetti showered down upon the new bride and groom like sunlit snowflakes. Jareth leaned in for a kiss, only to be met by the sudden cold of steel against his cheek.Although Sarah's smile was radiant, her voice was flinty. "I love you, Jareth, but if you ever play me false, may death find you swiftly before I do."
Jareth swallowed hard and nodded his head. "Duly noted."

This is a lot of digital painting and sketching, and a little bit of photomanipulation (eg I did not wholly draw the rapier or the sapphire broach, nor the pearls in Sarah's hair and on her gown). Everything else, including the wedding gown, faces, hair, headpieces, Jareth's outfit, including the lace, feathers, etc. are mine, however. Pose inspired by a photo shoot I saw of Jane and Rochester from the 2011 film Jane Eyre.

I can just see Sarah doing this. After their first encounter went "so damn well", I wouldn't trust Jareth farther than I could swing a sword either. I love the pearls and the feathery effects on Sarah's dress and Jareth's mantle as well.

I think I began to appreciate Labyrinth more after childhood. I adore the movie, even though it's hard not to feel a bit of melancholy now that David Bowie has passed away. Jareth and Sarah forever!

Labyrinth was the first movie that I remember that I liked me, I'll always have it a special love and I feel me sad too with the death of Bowie, so that I started to write a fanfic that I still have to finish it. Jareth and Sarah forever of course! hehehe.
