Pete and Pheonix were overjoyed to learn that the other was alive and thus a secret reunion was arranged. After the horrific attack on Gilneas, they each thought the other lost. In a way, they were, as the events that unfolded that day had not only changed but cursed them as well. This brought both of them fear and worry, would there be rejection?
In the end, it didn't matter; the moment they set eyes on one another all seemed right with the world again. The love they share is not biased to their new outwardly appearances, what they have is stronger than any curse. Pete and Pheonix savored every second of that moment for they didn't know when they would have a chance to be together again."
I had the pleasure to work on this piece as a commission for the wonderful PheonixxFoxx . The romantic subject matter was quite exciting, the backstory of the characters interesting and very moving. While the couple is very unusual, they still share a strong bond and inspired me to experiment and attempt a piece with unusual lighting to depict their reunion. I hope you like the final outcome!

Oh, she is not choking him. He is a forsaken (undead0 and his jaw has been dislocated, that's pretty much his normal expression.

That's the thing with the forsaken. It not that they don't feel emotions - they just cannot cope with them, so they chose to feel the simple one - hate, anger, cruelty.
But not all of them.
There are just fine examples of forsaken, that are the opposite. They care about the family, about friends and more.
And this Reunion is as it should be.
Full of fire, magic, claws, and bones.

Yes, they maybe unusual but I honestly believe that a person's true beauty is on the inside. People are to quick to judge a person on their outer appearance and differences. Obviously, that isn't the case with our featured couple.
