Hello folks
. As promised, here comes yet another of my crystals. This time a rather unusual crystal formation - a Tourmaline one. The reference pool for tourmaline crystals is exceedingly rich and there was a lot to choose from, mix and match. Most of them were quite fascinating too! For newcomers - I'm in love with crystals and gemstones and am painting them as a way to clear my head and eyes in between other work
(although I have to add, that of late I have started working on some crystals spontaneously, just because I wanted to). It takes about 4-6 hours to finish one crystal and I greatly enjoy it. I hope you enjoy the results

Thank you. It was actually a deliberate choice on my behalf. I have noticed these stones often contain a kind of landscape/scenery inside, so I tried to build one of my own and squeeze it into a crystal

Thank you, I'm glad you like it. The more crystals I paint the more I play with them and add ideas of my own. I admit that I had the same feeling when I was working on the Tourmaline and might have tried to nudge it a bit that way.
