(A possible alternate title being: "Cracking open a cold one with the boys, but the cold one is you and the boys haven't shown up yet")

Well, how's this for the first finished drawing of the year? I first drew this up when it was super cold round where I live. At some point, it snowed a bit for a while, too. I actually ended up basing his scarf on one that I own myself. ^_^ I got it for Christmas and it's very cozy. :3

In the original sketch, I ran out of space on the page around the tops of his boots, so I had to sketch those in digitally. While doing that, they started off as just generic "cartoon" looking boots, but I got curious and looked up photos of short wellington boots. After that I drew up another version of the boots sketch based on the reference, and I thought the end result looked great so I went with it. ^_^ Then, knowing how cold one's feet can get wearing wellies in the winter, I thought it would be a good idea to give him leg warmers too. His legs were also kinda long in the original sketch, so I scrunched and shortened them up so he'd actually look short like he's supposed to.

I put a good amount of time and effort into the background and details of this one; I'm pretty pleased with how it all came out. I also figured that Tynar would prefer to wear slightly oversized shoes, so it was fun to draw (and think about) him wearing some biiiig boots. ^w^
Anywho, I just thought it'd be a nice visual to have Tynar in a wintry outfit and blowing out a nice trail of steam.
