Description Tuomas Holopainen on stage in Strasbourg!

This was very fun to do! I painted my first portrait with oil pastel! So for those of you who haven't tried it, I really recommend it! I must do it again soon!

Would you mind if I asked what procedure you followed to achieve this result? You see, I too have finished my first oil pastel portrait recently (also of Tuomas, it's in my gallery ) and it turned out very different from yours. So I'm curious how to get all those different styles with oil pastel

Thank you! Actually, my oil pastel portrait of Tuomas is my first one too! What a coincidence!

Well, I can try to give you an understandable answer! Um.. I don't know if I had a particular procedure to achieve my result. In the photo I used of Tuomas there are a lot of coloured light in his face. I just coloured every part or spot quite rough and then I sort of smeared the paint out with a lighter chalk, depending on the shades of the colours. Did that make any sense?

I looked at your pastel portrait of Tuomas and I like the dark shades in it! Unlike my portrait!

Jo minsann, i övermorgon tänkte jag lägga upp Jin-bilden, är mest klar med den nu ^^
Och japanskan... jodå, bitarna faller på plats sakta men säkert Jag försöker kämpa mig igenom språklära-boken nu. Synd att jag hela tiden lyckas läsa den när jag är som mest trött!

JA! längtar längtar längtar! Men det är bra att du kämpar på med pluggandet iaf! Vet du vad!? Jag har handlat en korsett!! På en liten liten källar-affär här i Göteborg som heter nåt med Gothic... Den var på rea och kostade bara 575:-! och det är BARA för en korsett! Den är lila med svart spets! Jag kunde bara inte låta bli! Du bara måste se den när jag kommer hem! Vet precis vad jag ska ha på nästa photoshoot! puss å kram!
