Personality: Brutal, stoic, cruel and vicious, Baalzephon is the menacing Captain of the Prison Guards of Agares Asylum and is feared and loathed for his brute strength and cruelty to the prisoners. While at first glance he seems like a very quiet and reasonable authority figure (he really doesn’t say much), whenever he does speak up and step into the spotlight, he makes it very clear that he isn’t a pushover. Baalzephon views prisoners as being lower than dirt and will commonly take his anger out on them, beating them senseless or even killing them, usually for small reasons. He shows no care or sympathy to anyone but does seem to show high respect for his superior Buer, Agares and Lucifer.
Occupation: Captain of the Prison Guards at Agares Asylum/Soldier
Powers and Weapons: Brute Strength: Baalzephon is very strong and brutal, being able to take on several opponents at once and not even break a sweat.
Combat Expertise: Due to being a past soldier during the Great War on Heaven and being a guard for so long and fighting off prisoners, Baalzephon is very skilled in combat.
Golden Lion Claws: Baalzephon has very sharp claws that he can use to tear through bone, steel and concrete.
Grimoire: Baalzephon has a grimoire that he can use to travel from place to place but he barely uses it.
Sword: Baalzephon has a mighty magenta-colored sword that was forged by fallen angels. It is strong enough to cut through several opponents and he can use it to tear down a building. He mainly is seen with it onto his hilt.
Weaknesses: Fire: Surprisingly enough, Baalzephon is scared of fire. This is due to suffering some burns during his encounter with angels during the Great War on Heaven.
Bio: Little is known about Baalzephon’s background. He hailed from the Sloth Ring and was one of the earliest demons to have come from there to boot. He partook in the Great War on Heaven and suffered bad burns from the angels he fought, but he, Andras, Ribesal, Buer and Barbatos were hailed as heroes for their efforts for fighting for Hell. Baalzephon was then inducted into Agares Asylum to become a guard. While working there he was a very effective guard due to his cruel behavior to the prisoners and was soon promoted to Captain of the Prison Guards due to his brutal behavior. Needless to say, he jails up demons well. It is also known that he didn’t get along with Shamdon and Morrigan, even stating that he was glad Shamdon was gone when he “disappeared”. However he didn’t like having Morrigan around. So he plotted….
It’s hard to get any other information out from Baalzephon however as he is mostly stationary at Agares Asylum, where he regularly guards. He occasionally comes to attend meetings at the Infernal Council though.
