Description
The Pokemon Rangers are a small group of renegades and monster hunters lead by the mysterious Rail and Sye. The Rangers don't align with any guild. Their mission is to capture or defeat "mutant" pokemon that inhabit Malu Forest. They also break up gangs and try to prevent custom guilds from sprouting up, as they see that as both gang activity and an "imbalance of power."

The leaders of the Rangers are strange, to say the least. They speak in a strange accents, especially Rail. Nobody knows where they're from. They first arrived at the Sacred Pillars, were found by the 17th Legion, and brought to the town. Not only was their speech almost incomprehensible, but it even took time for them to physically adjust to the climate of the town.

Rail Snivy

Rail barely talks to anyone. He is reserved and quiet, never really letting his emotions be known. When not on Ranger duty, he writes and reads poetry. He likes to eat soups and other warm foods. In his poems, he often mentions a soft name... Venice. Who or what that is is a mystery. Something most people notice but noone mentions is a series of black spots on his face and snout. In addition, rumors say that he uses moves that shouldn't be possible for a Snivy.

Sye Magikarp

Sye's wish is to start a restaurant. He says his dream once came true, but due to a traumatic injury, he was forced to sell his restaurant to pay hospital bills.
Sye loves to joke around and will take almost any job he can. For some strange reason, Sye attends Red's "Silence Ceremonies" dedicated to Ho-oh. Other than that, he is a loud, party animal.
Sye has spilled a lot of beans over the years... if you can call it that. He makes all sorts of wild claims. He once told a friend of his that he was from the distant past. He lost a friend that night. According to a rumor, he also claimed his scar had been casued by a magic wizard.
