...

Previously from chapter 10:

Without a moments hesitation, Tsukune dashed out into the congested avenue and pushed Yukari out of harms way. She was caught by a few bystanders on the opposite side of the avenue before she fell to the sidewalk.

A microsecond second later, a speeding car came upon Tsukune and then knocked him back about 3 meters.

SKREEEEEEEEEECCCHHHHHH!

Moka looked on in heart-wrenching agony as he was launched back and then harshly hit the pavement with a sickening, bone-crunching, thud.

"TSUKUNE!" the Norn of the present yelled out in horror as she ran up to his motionless body and feared the worse.

Kurumu joined her sister a moment later and covered her mouth with her hands when she saw the condition he was in.

The blue-haired goddess was for the first time ever, at a loss for words.

Yukari turned around in the nick of time to see her older sister run up to her fallen boyfriend.

"Oh no... Tsukune..." she said as a sense of dread washed over her, once she realized what had just happened not less than a few, seconds, ago.

...

"Somebody call for an ambulance!" a voice cried out as a crowd of onlookers saw for themselves what had happened to the young man not a minute before.

Moka knelt on the asphalt as she placed her hand on her boyfriend's unmoving form as Yukari walked over to her sisters. The youngest of the three had no idea how to react either as she suddenly realized that he had saved her from the fate which had befallen him.

Tsukune's body was covered in bruises as he hung onto his life with every, labored, breath. His once-clean, white, shirt was dirty and bloodied.

"Tsukune! Please, answer me! Please... don't – leave me. I need you... please... don't leave me alone..." Moka cried out as she sobbed heavily as Kurumu lent her a shoulder to lean on.

"This... this is all my fault..." Yukari quietly said on the verge of tears, herself. She then looked up as she heard the wailing siren of an emergency vehicle that raced up to their location which was followed by a black and white police car.

A moment later, the white ambulance came to a halt, as the rear doors burst open, and two Emergency Medical Technicians ran up to Tsukune.

"What happened?" the older man asked as he checked Tsukune's heart and eyes.

"He... he saved my sister..." Moka stammered out, as she tried to clear her tear-stained yes.

The other EMT checked for broken or fractured bones but was unable to find anything and decided the best course of action would to have him scanned and x-ray'd, instead.

"He... pushed me out of the way and then a – car – hit him," Yukari said to nobody in particular.

"We need to get him to the hospital, stat," the female EMT replied once she made her diagnosis.

"H-hospital?" Moka asked.

"Yes. You're his girlfriend, right?" the male EMT inquired as he stuffed his equipment into his black, leather, case. The other EMT ran over to the parked ambulance and pulled out a wheeled stretcher with help from the driver.

"Yes. I want to go with him as do my sisters," she said as the three EMTs gently lifted Tsukune up and placed him on the aluminum gurney.

"Very well. We don't have much time," he said as they wheeled her boyfriend over to the emergency vehicle and slowly slid him into the wide, open, back. The two EMTs climbed in back and motioned for the three goddesses to do likewise.

"Tsukune... please be alright..." Moka said as she sobbed yet again.

The police officer spoke to the driver of the vehicle which hit Tsukune, as well as to several eyewitnesses at the scene of the accident, and quickly made his report.

The driver would be the one to pay for Tsukune's hospital bill since he had ran the red light, apparently and would also be faced with a hefty fee.

The ambulance then sped away at high speed with its lights and siren blaring, after the rear doors were shut.

Not less than five minutes later the ambulance arrived at Tokyo Medical University Hospital in nearby Shibuya ward. As it pulled up to the emergency vehicle entrance, it quickly came to a full stop.

The driver hopped out of the front seat just as the rear doors opened. He pulled the gurney out and unfolded the front legs as the three EMTs rushed an unconscious Tsukune in through the double, sliding, glass doors.

Moka and her two sisters ran in after and followed them down the white, hallway towards the Emergency Room.

"What's his name?" the male EMT asked as they rushed down the corridor.

"Tsukune Aono," Moka replied as she looked down to him and wanted to be of some help but realized there was nothing she could do with so many humans around.

"Does he have any family?" the female EMT asked.

"Yes, he does," Moka replied with a tear.

"I think you should contact them and tell them what happened," she said as they pushed the stretcher through the E.R. doors. The female EMT stood there before Moka attempted to just barge in.

"Alright. Will... will he be okay?" Moka asked with worry clearly evident on her features.

"Don't worry, miss. We're going to perform some tests and a thorough examination with some X-rays, an MRI, and a CAT-scan. You'll have to wait out here until we're done," the woman doctor said as she walked through the E.R. doors, herself.

"Moka, she's right. We need to contact Kyoko and his parents," Kurumu said as she walked over to Moka and pulled her away from the E.R. doors since the large sign stated "Hospital Staff Only" in bright, red, letters.

"Big sis Moka? Is Tsukune going to be okay... I mean... will he..." Yukari asked out of unquestionable concern.

Even though she was still not too fond of him, she felt somewhat guilty for what had happened to him. If he did not make it, she knew she was the one who would be at fault even though Kurumu was one to set her off in the first place.

"I do hope so Yukari," Moka said as they walked over to a row of cushioned chairs and sat down. The pink-haired goddess then walked over to the nurse's desk and asked to borrow the phone as she had two, important calls to make.

* ring – ring *

"Coming!" Kasumi said as she wiped her wet hands on a towel as she walked into the hallway. She then picked up the phone to see who had called her at such an unusual hour, and on a Sunday, no less.

"Hello? Aono residence," Kasumi said.

"Misses Aono... it's me... Moka."

"Hello Moka, dear. What can I do for you?" the Aono matriarch asked.

"Are you sitting down?" Moka asked as she chocked back a sob.

"What's wrong, dear? Is something the matter?" Kasumi inquired with worry.

"Yes... Ts- Tsukune's... in... in the – hospital," Moka answered as she began to sob heavily yet again. She then dropped the receiver and fell to her knees, overwhelmed with sadness and grief. Kurumu then ran over to the phone and picked up the receiver.

Yukari walked over to her sister Moka, pulled to her feet, and helped her back to the row of chairs and then had her sit down.

"The... the – hospital?" Kasumi said in fear, as she thought the worse.

"Misses Aono? You haven't met me yet, but I'm Moka's older sister, Kurumu. Yes, I'm afraid to tell you that... he's in the emergency room here at Tokyo... Medical University... Hospital in Shibuya... he... had... saved our younger sister... from... from... being hit by a car..." Kurumu said with a sob as a few tears slid down her cheeks which she wiped away with her free hand.

"Oh kami. I need to tell my husband. We'll be right there as soon as we can. Thank you for calling us," Kasumi said as she dropped the handset and then passed out from shock. Koji heard the commotion himself and wondered why his wife lay on the cold floor.

"Um okay..." Kurumu said as she hung up and then dialed the house to inform Kyoko of the bad news. She quietly hoped that she would take it better, or that's at least what she hoped for, anyway.

"Oh... Kurumu... how could this happen?" Moka asked aloud as she was deep in thought of her best friend and love of her life.

"This... this is... all... my fault, big sis, Moka... if... me and boobzilla didn't... then he'd be okay and we'd be home having a nice dinner... oh no... what have I done?" Yukari said as she broke down and cried out of guilt. Moka wrapped her left arm around her little sister and did the best she could to console her.

"This is nobody's fault Yukari. He was just being his selfless, helpful self, like he always has. He saved you, didn't he?" Moka asked as she gave her younger sister a light squeeze. Yukari then shook her head 'yes'.

"I hope he's okay... the poor kid. I wish there was something we could do for him," Kurumu said with a sigh as the events played out in her mind again. She wanted to do whatever she could to not only console her sister, but to somehow save him as well if it were possible.

As the three sisters contemplated Tsukune's fate, a familiar, boisterous, female ran into the hospital, clearly out of breath. She briskly trotted down the long hallway and then spotted the sisters in question.

It was Kyoko.

"Moka..." she said as she ran up to the pink-haired woman and gave her a comforting hug.

"Kyoko..." she whispered back as the ended their brief embrace.

"I got here as fast as I could," the raven-haired woman said as she attempted to catch her breath. She then took an empty seat next to Yukari with a loud 'plop'.

"How'd you get here so quickly? Did you take the bullet train?" Moka asked.

"No, I rode my scooter here even though I was almost pulled over by a cop. The trains were behind schedule again and I decided it would be quicker to drive here instead of waiting around until who knows when," she said with a sigh.

"I see," Moka replied as she stared at the floor.

"Is aunty and uncle here yet?" Kyoko wondered as she looked around and saw no sign of them.

"No, I'm afraid not even though we called them, first," the middle Norn said with a sigh of her own.

"Well they'll get her eventually, depending on if aunty passed out or not when ya' told her," Kyoko commented.

"So, um... is Tsuki still being examined by the doctors?" Kyoko asked Yukari since Moka seemed to be out of sorts and had her mind elsewhere.

"Yes. They said we have to wait out here until they're done," the youngest sister replied as she wiped her tears away.

...

About ten minutes later the E.R. doors opened and an older doctor walked out into the hallway. He removed his face mask and rubber gloves, and then properly disposed of them in a hazardous waste bin which was attached to the wall.

He then saw the four women sitting in the row of chairs and approached them a moment later.

"Excuse me. Which of you ladies is Moka?" the polite doctor asked.

He was a tall man with a kind face and dressed in a light green pair of scrubs along with a white pair of simple shoes. His salt and pepper hair indicated he had years of medical expertise and was rather professional.

"That would be me," Moka said as she stood up and stared at the doctor as she waited his prognosis.

"Oh good afternoon, Miss Moka. I am Doctor Serizawa. My team and I just finished examining Mister Aono. The good news is that even though he has a few fractured bones, he luckily has no major head trauma. However he does have a medium concussion, but for some reason refuses to wake up, despite the fact he kept calling your name. Very odd, indeed. To keep him still during his tests, we had to administer a mild anesthesia just to be on the safe side along with an I.V. drip," he said as she shook his head.

"Good afternoon, Doctor. So, what does all of this mean?" Moka asked with concern as she furrowed her brow in confusion.

"It means that we're going to have to keep him under close observation for the next few days in Intensive Care until he wakes up. If you'd like, you can go and see him now but he won't be able to talk since he's sleeping off the anesthesia. I still find it hard to believe that he was hit that hard and doesn't seem to be that bad off, beside the concussion," Doctor Serizawa said.

"Thank you, Doctor," Moka said with a bow as her sisters and Kyoko stood up and bowed as well with a sigh of relief.

"You're most welcome but you other ladies will have to wait your turn to see him," the doctor said as Moka followed him down the hallway and into the Intensive Care Unit.

"Kurumu... do you think... he'll be alright? I mean he has to be, right? Because... they're supposed to be together... right?" Yukari asked as she ran over to her eldest sister and hugged her tightly as she cried even harder.

"I hope so... please... he just has to be," Kurumu said with a tear in her eyes.

Kyoko gave the youngest goddess a hug as well since she felt the same way. She knew her cousin had to somehow recover. Even though Kyoko was far from religious, she even said a short prayer and hoped for a miracle.

As Moka walked into Tsukune's hospital room located in the Intensive Care Unit, she had to cover her mouth with her hands before she broke down and cried again.

Just as promised by the kindly physician, an I.V. bag hung from a hook which was located at the top of a long, metal, pole that was attached to the left side of his bed. The needle was buried in his left arm and held in place with a clear bandage, just above where the limb bent upward.

The goddess walked to the far, right-hand side of the sanitized room and took a seat in the empty, leather, chair.

Tsukune had a temporary cast on his right arm as well on his lower, left, leg. He was also covered with a soft, blue blanket and was propped up on a few pillows. The head of the adjustable bed was lightly raised so he would be somewhat comfortable even though he was sound asleep.

"Tsukune... I don't know if you can hear me or not... but I am so afraid right now. I am afraid to lose you... again. I do not want... that to happen because... because you being by my side, gives my life meaning. There's – there's something I need to tell you so I suppose it could wait. Or not..." Moka said as she gave her next speech some thought.

The pink-haired deity then took a deep breath as she continued:

"I need you to listen to me even though you may not be able to do as much. The truth is... the truth is... that... I love you. I... love you so, so much... and I have for such a long time. And... now... and now... the thought of me losing you... weighs very heavily on my heart, especially now," Moka said as she stood up and lovingly held his right hand in her own.

"Please... Tsukune... please come back to me... my love... I am nothing without you," she said as she leaned forward and softly kissed him on his lips as a few tears slid down her cheeks. Moka then stood up as Koji and Kasumi walked into the room and both had tears in their own eyes.

"Sweetie..." Kasumi said as she and her husband stood on the left-hand side of the hospital bed where their unconscious son lay.

"Oh, Mister and Misses Aono... I didn't hear you come in," Moka said as she stepped back, wiped her tear-stained face, and looked at the older couple on the other side of the wide bed.

"It's alright, dear. We spoke to Doctor Serizawa before we walked in here. He explained to us what happened. We also spoke to your sisters who are just as worried as you are," Kasumi said with a few tears. Koji held her left hand affectionately and did his best to not break down.

"I'm so very sorry Misses Aono. I have failed you and myself. I don't know if I should be with him any more after all of this. I should've been more vigilant..." Moka said as she sat down on the white, leather, chair and cried yet again. It was all too much for the goddess to handle and she had a difficult time keeping her wits and emotions under check.

Kasumi walked over to where Moka sat, bent down to her level, and then pulled her into a warm hug.

"Shh. It's okay dear. These things... happen and he seems to be okay from what the doctor told us. Hopefully he'll wake up in a few days and we can put all of this behind us," Kasumi said in a soothing, motherly, voice.

"Misses Aono..." Moka said with a few, more, tears in her emerald green eyes.

"I think you should stay here tonight... just to keep watch over him, just in case he decides to wake up," Kasumi said with a small smile.

"Misses Aono, I couldn't. I'm not family," Moka sadly replied.

"I insist. Even though we're not related by marriage or blood, doesn't mean that you're not family. I'm most certain that he'd be very happy to see your pretty face when he wakes up. You do love him, right?"

"Misses Aono... I don't know what to say. However if you want me to stay and the hospital staff does not mind... and yes... I do love him so very much and told him that just now," Moka replied with a tired sigh.

"Awww, see? I knew that you two were a good fit. Besides, Koji has to be at work in the morning and can't miss any time," Kasumi added.

"Thank you Misses Aono. So, you're heading back soon?" Moka inquired.

"You're most welcome, dear. I knew it from the moment we met you Moka that there was something very special about you, dear. Tsukune needs you now more than ever. And yes, we need to head back unfortunately. You will let him know we came to visit, right?" Kasumi asked with a nod.

"Oh thank you. Tsukune is very special to me as well and I'll inform him of your visit. I'll also contact you as soon as he fully recovers," Moka said with a bow.

"You're welcome, dear. Please be sure to," Kasumi said with a bow herself. She then walked over and gave her son a kiss on his forehead after she moved his always-messy hair out of the way.

"Get well soon, son," Koji said. Kasumi then gave Moka another hug.

As they ended their embrace, Koji held his wife's hand as they exited the private I.C.U. room.

Half an hour later, Moka decided she needed a break from her emotional roller coaster of a day. It just seemed to her that it was one thing after another and now her Tsukune lay unconscious in a hospital bed. She was unsure of if and when he'd wake up and that notion alone terrified her to no end.

"Big sis! How's Tsukune?" Yukari said rather loudly which caused several nurses on duty to "shush" her. She then bowed apologetically towards them as Moka returned to her seat from earlier.

"He seems to be okay but..."

"But what?" Yukari asked with curiosity.

"Kyoko, why don't you visit him for a while? I'm sure he'd be happy to know that you were here as well," Moka suggested with a small smile.

"Uh, are you sure Moka? I mean, you're his girlfriend and everything ya' know..." Kyoko replied.

"Of course. You are part of his family. I would just like to have a word with my sisters if it's alright," Moka answered.

"Uh, okay. I'll be back in a while then," Kyoko said as she stood up from her seat and walked over to the double doors. Once she walked through them, Moka turned her attention towards her sisters.

"Moka? What's going on in that head of yours?" Kurumu asked with a raised brow. Yukari was curious herself as she always was and wanted to know as well, particularly if it had anything to do with Tsukune.

"I just thought we could go for a walk... somewhere less crowded," was her ambiguous reply. Moka then stood up and motioned for her sisters to follow her.

As the trio walked down the long hallway, not a word was spoken between either of them.

A few minutes later, they came upon a waiting room which was devoid of any visitors or hospital staff. There were several couches inside the large room which had its own heavy, wooden, door with a simple window, located above the brass handle.

"So what's up Moka? He's gonna be okay, right?" Kurumu asked as she was seated on one of the beige couches with her two sisters, with Yukari seated in the center.

"I'm not sure. I have a bad feeling about this," she said with a tear in her eyes.

"What do you mean, big sis?" Yukari asked as she grew even more concerned.

"What I mean is... there's very little if any brain activity, even if he did call out my name earlier. I did a quick scan with my powers and it seems as if his consciousness is slowly fading... and I may lose him forever," Moka said as the realization set in and it broke her heart even further.

"Oh no. This can't be real. Why is this happening to him? I wish we could do something and make it like it never happened!" Yukari cried out in fear and hopelessness.

"That's it!" Kurumu said with a snap of her fingers and sprang off the couch.

"What is it, sister?" Moka asked curiously.

"I have an idea on how we can save Tsukune," the blue-haired Norn replied.

"Wait a minute. You had an idea? Did it make your brain hurt?" Yukari said with disbelief.

It was rather rare that Kurumu ever had a good idea as most of hers usually backfired explosively, more often than not.

"Yes, I had an idea and an excellent one at that, if I may add," Kurumu said as she sat down on the plush sofa again.

"Well... we can't use our powers to heal him as there are cameras monitoring his room," Moka pointed out.

"We're not gonna save him that way," Kurumu said with a wink which told her sister that she was most likely up to no good and was about to have her license suspended from even suggesting such an idea.

"So how are we supposed to save him then?" Moka inquired now curious herself.

"Like Yukari said: make it like it never happened. We're gonna go back in time," was Kurumu's upfront reply.

"What? Have you lost your damn mind? If we did that it could cause all sorts of issues not only with the already-fragile Yggdrasil mainframe but could also result in all sort of paradoxes with the space-time continuum! Don't even suggest something as dangerous as that," Yukari loudly objected.

"You seem to forget little sister that we are the three Norns who watch over time itself. I watch over the past, you the future, and Moka the present. We're only gonna go back a couple of hours anyway, to be sure he doesn't get hit by that car," Kurumu said with a shrug.

"I know that, but you're forgetting a few details. One: there will be two of us at the very same point in space-time, and two: if we overshoot our destination time by a few minutes or even by a second, that could lead to some really big problems," Yukari explained.

"Yukari's right, Kurumu. I want to save Tsukune as well, but it is not only unsafe but could rupture space-time itself, if our calculations for the spell are off," Moka said as she gave her sister's plan some thought.

"First of all, once we go back to that exact point in time, we'll merge with our past selves since we're already there and we'll know exactly what to not say or do. And secondly, if we can discover what caused the chain of events which led up to the accident, then everything will go back to the way it was before, or is supposed to be, anyway. And I think I already figured that part out," Kurumu countered.

"Fine. I guess that makes sense. So what is it? What was the cause of his accident to happen in the first place?" Yukari asked with skepticism since Kurumu was not the sharpest tool in the shed.

"Our little fight when I tried to grab your manga," Kurumu replied as she pointed out the very manga in question which Yukari held closely to herself.

"That's what caused my Tsukune to save you and then get hit by that car?" Moka asked as her face turned red with ire.

"Um, big sis. Please calm down. We're in a hospital, remember? We have to stay quiet," Yukari said as she stood up and then hid behind Kurumu.

"I told you two no fighting and yet you did anyway!" Moka growled with a bit of anger in her voice.

"We can go back and fix this. As long as we don't fight, then this will never have happened, Moka. Tsukune will be fine and nobody will even remember this time-line," Kurumu said as she slid back and away from her very upset, younger sister who had fire in her eyes.

"So that's your solution, Kurumu? Just going back in time and undo this? I see. So, nobody will remember? Hm... I will remember, sister," Moka said through her teeth.

"Now calm down sister... I'm truly, truly, sorry. This was my fault and I want to fix this. I take full responsibility! If I didn't egg her on, none of this would've happened in the first place," Kurumu said with a tear in her eyes.

"I will forgive you in time and that's correct. You two are sisters and all you do is argue and fight; day in and day out. If you want to rectify this issue and save my Tsukune, then I hope that you're correct, Kurumu. If we do travel back in time and prevent this from ever happening, please be sure that nothing goes wrong... otherwise, all will be for naught and Tsukune could very well perish," Moka said with a small frown.

"Hey if I'm wrong, I'll go back to Asgard myself and ask Him to save Tsukune, okay?"

"Alright, the barrier is up. Nobody will see nor hear us now," Moka said as she double-checked to be sure no human was within the immediate area.

The three Norns stood in the middle of a small parking lot which was located behind the main building of the medical center. Moka wanted to be sure that nobody were to interfere with the time travel spell since it had to be spoken clearly without any outside hindrance, whatsoever.

One miscalculation and they could end up back in time hundreds or even thousands, of years.

"Just remember that the time-jump will be instantaneous and might feel a bit disorienting for a few seconds. Once we get back, please remember what must be done. I will do whatever I can to be sure Tsukune stays safe since you two were down the street beforehand," Moka said to her two siblings who had caused the entire problem to begin with.

The sisters each held their outstretched hands as the turquoise, glowing, magic circle took form on the pavement below. Numerous, ancient, Norse, runes and archaic symbols formed in the complex, round, pattern as it glowed brighter by the passing second.

As they closed their eyes, Kurumu began to speak the forbidden spell:

"I am the Goddess Kurumu! In the name of the goddesses who govern the passage of time, guide us into the past, to the point which we seek!"

The aqua-tinted light grew brighter and brighter as it covered the goddesses. They then suddenly vanished in a burst of bright, intense, light.

Yukari knew why Moka was sent to Earth in the first place due to Tsukune's wish and the contract between the pair. She also had learned that he was a goodhearted man who genuinely cared not only about her older sister, Moka but for her and Kurumu as well.

It was almost as if he was a big brother-type of figure who had a keen intellect and was well-educated about all sorts of earth-based vehicles.

That was another thing they had in common besides the love they had for Moka. One was romantic and the other was sisterly. Maybe he was not so bad after-all, she mused.

"Hey Yukari... Yukari!" Kurumu half-shouted as she attempted to get her sister's attention since she wobbled a bit and felt disoriented for a moment which quickly passed.

Kurumu on the other hand felt fine with no aftereffects from the time travel spell.

"Huh?" she replied with a confused look.

"I said we're back. The time spell worked," Kurumu whispered.

"Hey, you're right. We are back. I can't believe it actually worked but it did! We have to go see big sis. Look, there she is now," Yukari said with a smile as she walked towards Moka and Tsukune who were about 10 meters down the sidewalk with Kurumu hot on her heels.

"What can I say? I want Moka to be happy," the bluette said with a smile.

It was if nothing wrong had happened at all.

"Hey Moka? Are you okay?" Tsukune asked as Moka shifted a bit and then leaned up against him. He then reached around her waist and helped her to stand upright on her own, two, feet.

"Tsukune?" she inquired as the strange feeling of the time travel spell lingered a bit longer for her since she was the Norn of the present.

"Yeah, are you feeling alright? Are you dizzy or something? Um... maybe we should get out of the sun," he said out of sincere concern for her overall well-being.

"Oh Tsukune!"

Once she realized that the time spell had worked and he was safe, the pinkette then leapt forward and captured his lips in a heated, passionate, kiss. Tsukune caught her in his arms and returned the simple act of affection which seemed to have more feeling behind it than it normally did.

Even though it was rather embarrassing to do so out in public, he did not say a word about it.

Moka was tickled pink and relieved at the same time that Tsukune was alive and not hanging on death's door in the hospital. She would have to thank Kurumu later on for her ingenious plan on how to save him before the accident ever happened.

"Hey you two love birds. I see that all is well on this side, right?" Kurumu said with a wink as her sister and Tsukune ended their embrace since they had received more than their share of unwanted attention.

"Oh hey Kurumu, Yukari. Yeah, everything's fine, right Moka?"

"Yes, all is well Kurumu. All is very well, indeed," Moka answered with a happy, bright, smile which was infectious as her sisters grinned as well.

"Oh big sis Moka... um... that's good to hear. Why don't we get something to drink? It's kind of warm out here, wouldn't you agree Kurumu?" Yukari asked as she did her best to hold her giddiness.

The youngest sister was just as happy that the chrono-displacement spell worked just as planned like Kurumu said it would. The little genius could not sense anything out of the ordinary and everything was as it should have been in the original time-line.

Kurumu and Moka felt the same way, naturally. If something was amiss, time-wise, they would be the first to notice, especially Moka herself.

"That's the best idea I heard all day. I could sure use a tall, cold one right about now," Kurumu commented with a laugh.

Much later that evening, Tariki Hongan Temple, Nekomi, Japan.

As soon as Yukari had gotten home, she thanked Tsukune once again for the manga he had purchased for her in Akihabara with a kiss on his cheek. The mechanic was flabbergasted by her unorthodox behavior and just passed it off as she was merely tired from such a long day. Kurumu went to bed herself after she bid the couple a pleasant night.

After Tsukune and Moka changed into their nightwear, they went to sleep per their nightly habit in the same bed. Moka was relieved that the time-line had been repaired due to her elder sister's quick thinking. Thankfully there were no bizarre anomalies or fractures in the space-time continuum. And no phone-calls from the Man upstairs, either.

This was another secret Moka and her sisters had to keep from Tsukune, which she was not fond of. She would tell him one day and silently prayed that he would take the strange news with a grain of salt and actually believe it, as crazy as it sounded.

Time travel only happened in science fiction and fantasy-based stories, right?

Moka turned to her left and cuddled up to her love.

Yes, the Goddess was deeply in love with her mortal boyfriend and could not help but smile the entire time. She pressed her warm body up to him and nuzzled up to his neck which caused him to shudder with delight.

"Thank you once again for such a wonderful day, Tsukune," she whispered out as he wrapped his right arm around her voluptuous frame and pulled her even closer.

"Hey, you're welcome. I had a great day too. I'm just glad your sisters didn't end up having a huge fight," he said with a chuckle.

"Oh, Tsukune. You are far too sweet. I had a nice chat with them about it, so I do hope that they can keep their word regarding any future outings," Moka replied with a sigh.

"I'm just telling the truth, Moka. I was thinking we could do something else since we still have a long summer break from NIT. Maybe we could go to an amusement park or something," he suggested as he gave the idea more thought.

He had not been to any sort of amusement park in many years and figured that it would be an excellent opportunity to show the three sisters how mortals had another form of fun. At least Moka has acclimated to living on earth and had learned a great deal since she had arrived over 4 months ago.

"An amusement park?" she repeated as she sat partially up.

"Yeah. You've probably seen some advertised on TV like Tokyo Disney or Universal Studios. Now's the time of year when they're open late, everyday. The only downside is they tend to be really busy, though. Or we could even go to an indoor water park. They have all kinda water rides there and it would be a great way to cool off," he suggested as an alternative plan since the theme parks tended to be rather packed as he had pointed out.

"Oh, either of those sound like a wonderful idea. I know we're on a tight budget but perhaps it will somehow work out for us," Moka added as she laid down again.

"Yeah, you're right. Somehow things do work out for us, huh?" Tsukune said as he leaned down and pulled her closer. She shivered in ecstasy at his bold move as her heart beated faster and faster in anticipation.

"Oh Tsukune..." Moka said in a hushed voice as she leaned forward and kissed him full on his lips. He deepened their kiss as Moka maneuvered herself and then laid on top of him. He wrapped his strong, caring arms around her slender waist and desired to be much closer to her.

"Moka... my sweet Moka..." he breathed out between kisses as their tongues wrestled playfully. Moka grew hotter and hotter with every, passing, second as she felt as though a raging fire were ignited in the pit of her belly and had caused her toes to curl upward.

"Oh Tsukune," the goddess replied as she began to softly sob. Unsure of what had caused her to suddenly break down, Tsukune kissed her lightly on her neck and held her affectionately. She returned his affection likewise which sent a prickle of pleasure down his back.

"Shh... I'm here Moka. I'm not going anywhere, I promise," he said lovingly as he ended their kiss and held her close.

"You... you promise?" she asked between tears.

"I promise," he said with a warm smile which eased her heart to some extent. He then continued to hold her until she calmed down and he honestly did not know how long it would take but would console her for as long as she needed him.

"Are you feeling better now?" Tsukune asked several minutes later once Moka recomposed herself.

He continued to hold her close and refused to let go of her, anytime soon. He did not have a clue why she had an emotional break down but knew she was an emotional woman and that was the norm for her whenever she was extremely sad, happy, or uncertain.

"Yes, I'm feeling much better. Thank you for asking Tsukune," she said with a smile and then kissed him softly on his lips.

"Don't worry about it Moka and I'm always gonna be here for ya'. No matter what happens, I just want ya' to know that you mean the world to me," he said.

"Oh Tsukune. Thank you. Hearing that has made me very happy as I feel the same way for you," she replied with a blissful sigh.

"Moka..." he said with a sigh himself as he pulled the woman in his arms into a protective hug and refused to let go of her for the remainder of the night. Before long, they both peacefully fell asleep before either of them had realized it.

...

As Kurumu made her way back to her bedroom after she had used the restroom, she put her ear up to her sister and Tsukune's bedroom door with a smile.

"I'm so happy for ya', little sister. Hmmm. Maybe I could whip somethin' up to get him to be a bit bolder. Oh I've got it. I have the perfect thing for him. Oh yeah, this is gonna be just the thing he needs to confess to her," Kurumu quietly said as she turned around and returned to her bedroom to get a good night's sleep as he wanted to get started on her new potion, first thing in the morning.

Author's Notes: Please read!

I know. I said it would be at least a week before I posted a the follow-up chapter, but I had the idea already planned out and wanted to get started on it right away. I wrote this chapter in two days. (which included a few revisions with dialogue and whatnot)

I also set up the next chapter with Kurumu making a potion for Tsukune, as well!

This chapter was loosely based upon "Ah! My Goddess" season 2, episode 22 when Belldandy, Urd, and Skuld went back in time so they could fix the time stream because Hild had gone back and met Keiichi in high school age and changed the future where he had never made a wish contract with Belldandy.

The spell Kurumu spoke in this chapter was the same one from that very episode, as well.

This chapter was also partly inspired by the classic movie "Back to the Future: Part 3" and "The Flash" TV series, season 1, episode 15 called "Out of Time" where Barry accidentally time traveled back 12 hours and prevented several tragedies from ever happening.

Yeah, read the comment from hankypanky68.

I basically told him I don't write angst and I'd never kill off one of the main characters.
