Description

There have been reports of types of Pokemon with odd DNA similar to that of humanity, as a species of Ultra Beast was responsible for creating weird Tafotian 'mons. These Pokemon have human-like intelligence and have been seen learning our language sometimes; and upon looking at their genetic history, they are all linked together to have been from other planets created by one cosmic Pokemon species.

Lorewise, most of the 'mons made by Specquev in this big group are primarily made with human DNA as a base, and then mixing it with Pokemon DNA gathered across space via Ultra Wormholes, including occasional Earth visits to drop off any creations haphazardly without even taking notes. Their creations often have the NEO-type as sort of their genetic signature.

Mormyblin (a mixture of Mormyridae and Goblin) is a small but warm sea creature, is it a fish? a shark? a dolphin? who knows. But what I do know, is that I designed it based on All Tomorrows' Swimmer humans. There were many designs used for these swimmers as referred by the book but the shark-like one is the one shown. Mormyblin is aslo based on Goblin Sharks , modern Cetaceans, and the Mormyridae - an intelligent fish with a brain-to-body ratio bigger than ours!

"Mormyblin have been shown to be able to learn human speech much like a baby would, it may not know what it's saying but it's learning for sure. They primarily hunt fish and crustaceans on the sea floor for food, as they can sense any of them hiding under the sands with electric organs near it's nose and fin."

-Level up Mormyblin with Max Happiness, and it will evolve into Delfinaut-

Delfinaut (a portmanteau of delfino [Italian for dolphin] and the -naut [mostly from astronaut]) is by far the cuter of the SpecEv creatures it's based on in it's book - The Tool Breeders from All Tomorrows, it's a dolphin man that uses genetically altered animals as tools, weapons, housing, and even transportation. It's also mixed with a bit of Indrid Cold .

For it's Fakemon variant, it uses a special Remoraid that it uses as one of those sci-fi rayguns, a helmet that is actually a gentically modified Frillish filled with infinite water to keep cool and hydrated on land - it is a sea creature after all, and the signature crustacean it puts in it's blowhole still to breathe air through it's helmet. All of these element combined make Delfinaut look like a cartoony space alien dolphin.
