Description
This is a still life I had completed during my classical rendering course. It is of a plaster cast the professor had brought in and it took a bit longer than I was hoping, thus I only finished the cast. The background is complete BS and makes no sense as I drew it without reference. It looks like the cast is being firmly pressed into a wall of fabric-rock. Dunno what fabric-rock is? Well here it is; I drew it, now STFU and enjoy the lumpy butt.Drawn with a soft charcoal and white pastel pencil.
The background was filled in with a charcoal stick.

Hey! A nicely rendered sculpture. It gives the right feeling of hard shiny material. Background looks fine to me, not so distracting that you're eyes are taken away from the torso.
