Background/Personality:
Moonstone Sonata is the only son of Thunderlane and Rarity. Moon entered the world set for the stage: as a young foal, Moon pranced around always ready to show off. Even as a young stallion, Moon is considered a grand thespian artist in the making.

Moon is a stallion of many talents: whether through theatrical performances, interpretive dance, modeling, and/or singing a solo, Moon knows he’s talented and is not afraid to show off. However, hidden deep inside himself, Moon holds back anxiety from his talents: is he truly talented, or is he merely better than his “one horse town” of Ponyville? Despite his inner anxieties, Moon knows one day he’ll break free from the small stage and hit it big in Bridleway and nothing will get in his way.

Moon is not afraid to show is true self, flaws and all. The colt is creative and expressive, bold and talkative, and above all somewhat of a show-off diva snob. Moon knows he is good at what he loves and will never hesitate to either talk himself up or perform on the spot simply because a pony complimented the stallion. From this snobbish attitude comes a fire of confidence that shines beyond the stallion himself: if Moon sees talent in his friends, he will do everything he can to let other’s lights shine just as bright as his own.

- Moonstone Sonata's cutie mark is a crescent moon with thespian masks and three sparkles. The mark symbolizes Moon's talent in conveying emotion through performances. Moon acquired the mark recently while performing a one-pony show for his Thespian Club.
- Moon is known to spontaneously break out into musical numbers.
- Moon learned quite young about his attraction to other stallions and never felt the need to hide his feelings.
