Been thinking about Gaara's overly tragic past a lot lately, most likely due to what's been going on in the anime at the moment. Had this sketch half-colored from a few weeks ago. So, I picked it up again, got annoyed with what I had done so far, and recolored it in about three hours 1/2 hours.Sketch: Pen (total time: 20 minutes)
Coloring: Mouse on Photoshop (total time:3 1/2 hours)
All text is directly taken from the manga. The last words are some of the last things that Yashamaru said to Gaara.

Blergh I know how you feel. Year 12 has been so full on I've drawn so little, even though I get some really cool ideas that have to be set aside.
