PLEASE NOTE: These are all feathers from pet macaws who lost their feathers through natural mold. No animal was harmed to make this quill!I just adore macaw feathers so much!!!
These blues are so intense, its almost impossible to get a good photo
One wingfeather and several backfeathers from a macaw called "Cora", arranged as beautifull medieval quillpen. The hold is wrapped in satin ribbon and decorated with a glas cabochon.
The tribal ornament are handpainted by me on the feathers, using a tiny brush and Citadel-Colors.

Yeah, thats quiete hard. Mhh, have you tried ebay as source? I found many wingfeathers from gooses when I searched fo "big feathes"
Also I odered once in this shop, its german but I guess she delivers worldwide too

thank you, that seems nice. first off seems a bit expensive, then again she has to collect and wash them and they lose bigger feathers rarer than the fluffy unders
