Description
The scenery is completely handsculpted from polymerclay, directly onto/into the silver metal base. When the lake and forest were sculpted I placed the waterfalls over the frame and blended all together.
After baking the scene was painted with Citadel Colors.
The water was sculpted from FIMO "icecrystal blue" semitrancelucend clay. After baking I added several layers of glossy varnish, mixed with a hint of blue metallic pigments, for a most realistic look.
Here the first two waterfall amulets I made in 2014
I really need to craft more like this... I wish I had more time or at least four more arms to work on several things simultaniously

Oh my goodness! It looks so real! Whoever got this piece is so lucky. The effect of the water and the ways the trees frame the image makes it look like a tiny pocket of forest!
