The first finished project in 2015!
I red the first W.I.T.C.H. comics when I was 13 years old, so it was a wave of nostalgia when came to me with idea to craft Wills amulet, the Heart of Kandrakar
In the comics/ the series the stone is sometimes purple, then its pink, moonstone optik, silver or opal...Most shown artworks showed it in moonstone or purple and since I only could find a amethyst orb I sticked to purple
The pendant is made from a gorgeous amethyst orb. The silver parts, the cage, is direxctly sculpted from silver polymerclay on/arround the orb. The silver parts are also painted with ornaments and dots in brighter silver, but the photo is to bad -.-
After baking I safed it from falling apart with varnish, in case the clay might not stick on the even surface of the stone.
