Here a forest-themed openable locket medaillon I made in October 2018 - I just love to combine amethyst with the rooty natural theme, it just has sich a gorgeous glow Especially this stone has a great light, even if it has some inclusions.

The roots, moss and plants form the cover plate of this silvertoned openable locket, embracing the amethyst. I sculpted directly onto the brass cover, letting the wood slightly fold over the edges.

All plants and wooden parts are handsculpted from FIMO polymerclay and were handpainted with Citadel Colors.

The locket is about 3cm long and has a silver backside. You can open it and put in a tiny picture, some parfumed paper, dried blossoms or any talisman small enough
