scratch boards are a very fast medium... the tiger took me about 2 hours from sketching it out to putting the finishing touches on... it's very easy to get fur effects with a fiber glass brush

I used a fiberglass brush and some dental tools, the medium is clay scratch board... and if you try if urself a great hint I figured out later is so buy an equally ebony ink and if u make mistake it's easy to cover and re-scratch

a scratch board is justa flat clay sheet with a thin black covering... scratching away the black to reveal the white beneath sounds simple but it take a lot of patients and the right tools... u should try one, they're so much fun and even people with little darwing or paitning technique have come out with amazing results

damn, very nice. is it just me or is the jaw out of proportion? and how did you get such fine lines?

ya the jaw looks a bit off because I made it a bit too light so it apers to be bigger and sticking out... the fine lines were done with a dentist's tool... a couple of my family members are dentists... but I would imagine a needle tapped to a pencil would achieve similar effects

Pretty, I like the ways animals show expression, especially when its anger. I don't know what a scratchboard is, so I cant accuratly critique this. But I would feel ruded not leaving a comment on such a beautiful piece as this, as I like it so much.
