Awesome! I likes the helmet! Only thing I might add would be maybe some shoulder plates or something, but it's fine without em and I'm known for my tendency to through shoulder guards on every design I do so feel free to ignore that! I'm still planning on posting a pic soon, but I've been pretty busy lately for an unemployed guy, and I'm gonna be leaving town in the next few days so I might not get around to posting anything for a week or so, but be patient with me plz. :beg:

Oh yeah, I had an idea for this guy that wouldn't necessarily require redesigning anything. That is, beam sword/s! Maybe one arm could have a sword emitter and the other could be a regular laser shooter, or maybe the beams on both arms could be adjusted either way, maybe even with different sized blades. Anyways, just a thought I thought I'd share with ya.

thanx glad that you likd it and sorry about the shoulder plates i though about it, but i think that it looks better this way and anyways the black part of the armor is just a flexible protective material. and about the blades i thought of that already and i think that it is possible like being able to control the energy that it shoots out of the arms to make up blades.

Nah, don't apologize, it was just a thought I had, it doesn't add anything to or take anything away from what you did, like I said, I tend to put shoulder plates on everything. I could draw a dog and I would give him shoulder plates, not really but I'm exaggerating to prove a point. You'd be doing the drawing so do what you're comfortable with and what's easier for you to produce. And with the blades I think you totally get what I'm saying, maybe he could even alter the length of the blade to an extent. Use it however you want. I just gotta say though, I think it's really cool how I threw this random idea out there and you just ran with it and turned it into something cool, gotta give credit where credit is due. I also appreciate that you consider me enough of a "dA friend" to include me in this. If you ever have a request for me or feel like a trade or anything, I'd be happy to oblige.

Plot line huh? Well since, the original was a little absurd, I would aim for more of the same, though perhaps more structured. Needs some solid villains, and they need an aim and a motive. If you're up for a semi modern and relevant plot I'd suggest something along the lines of fighting people trying to ban video games. I could just imagine this scenario where everyone runs up on this real business-y looking politician and start demanding justice, then he transforms into this 20ft monster and assaults. The end-boss could be Hillary Clinton!

I don't know, that's pretty silly, but it seems like something that would be fun to do. I'm not saying do that, but do something that's not too serious, since that definitely wouldn't fit. If you can have fun with it, it'll be easier for you to do, and easier for others to enjoy. In my opinion anyways.

nice i like your way to thing, and you're right i need villians, all i have so far is that another human got into this dimension and it became really powerful to the point of madness and now he/she is trying to conquer or destroy this univers, but i really need a stroger or more elaborate motive than that, but i'll keep the comedy since thats the part that i love the most in this project.

so far the characters/heroes are:
me the lazy heroe
you the mecha-genius
joe the bad temper & badass
anita the cheerfull
"A.P." the goth

Yeah, one of those really cliche take over the world plots would probably fit just fine. OR maybe since it's like an alternate dimension or whatever, said villain could try to make this "fantasy" a "reality," like make his/her abilities relevant in the real world, you know? So then he/she could try to take over the real world. So then the plot would basically be trying to stop said villain from achieving each step in the process until the final confrontation in the real world. The motive could be that the villain never had a girlfriend and he thinks chicks dig guys who can take over the universe or he never had friends and hates the world, or is tired of living in his parents' basement or something. Maybe it's just someone with too much imagination and ambition and that's why his/her abilities are so great or whatever. Idk about all that but you can probably see where I'm going with all this. I'm sure you'll think of something.

All you really have to do is figure out what separates the two worlds and how the villain could destroy that, it could be represented by something physical, like pillars. Or maybe certain figures of interest, like oracles or chanters or something. Or maybe the villain has to gather key components to an ancient device or pieces to a powerful artifact that manifests the user in the real world powers intact or something. Still just throwing stuff out there, might help get your imagination fired up.
