it really was an indian summer (still is, and officially winter now, after the solstice, 60 in PA the other day) this year.
perfect exposure time. i always have trouble with that, seem to leave it a little too long or not lon enough.

Fantastic photo..I love that part of my country..went there once several years ago, before I had my good camera. In fact, I think one of the very first photos I ever posted in my DA gallery was taken in October in the mountains of New Hampshire..with all the great colors. Anyway, this is certainly a fav..can't believe I haven't come across your work here before.

Although I love the way the smoothness and blured appearance of the water draws out the clarity of the rocks, i feel that the exposure may have been a little too long. The water is too smooth for my liking but it is still an excellent photograph. Nice work
