Merry Christmas!I wish you all a wonderful next year and lots of art and love.
This is one of the first shots I ever did, and it's still one of my favourite ones. I drove more than 400 miles that day ... I was really tired and exhausted. It was my first journey to Denmark. I parked my car a few minutes before the sunrise started and stood next to my car and fought my tiredness. As the sunrise started, I couldn't believe my eyes. I can't tell you how happy I was that I had my camera with me. For you it may be yet another sunrise, for me it captures an wonderful moment in my life ...

People underestimate the beauty of a sunrise,
partially due to the fact that normal people are still asleep and its so easy to see a beautiful sunset...

seriously, I think this shot is worth every single of these 400 kilometers
the athmosphere you captured is simply amazing. this misty sunrise, it's so full of hope, rich of warm feelings.
and you chose just the perfect position for your should, the bent river shape adds to the depth as well as those hills in the far background.
colours are great too, and I like the simple but effective framing and titling.

I love the inviting, warm colors of this shot. It has such a soft feel to it; very dream-like and soothing. I can almost feel the warmth of the sunlight. The contrast and reflections you captured are gorgeous. Really nice capture.
