I'm really loving what I do, but sometimes I forgot how much I adore what I do as photographer. I forgot the magic ... and moments like that are like a slap in my face.Life is so damn short and you don't have much chances to see locations like that with that incredible light in your life ...
In 2005 it was a river in canada (indian summer time) that made me speechless. But 40-50 m above the ocean, only some cm away from the ground and that location below ... I don't think I can't top that moment.
But I hope ....

I know what you mean. Photography can become too much about perfectionism, marketability, supply and demand. You can often forget why you loved it in the first place, and it's moments like this that remind you.

Aber das Foto ist fantastisch und wirkt auf mich wirklich harminisch
ps: ich war zuerst werwirrt, wegen der Belichtungszeit. Jetzt bekomm ich langsam check von blende und zeit und dann sowas...
Aber zum GlΓΌck hab ich runtergescrollt und den comment mit den 30 sec gesehen.

I can't agree with your caption more. The ability to even visit the places you photograph, not even adding the fact you HAVE photographed them, beautifully might I add, is a fantastic opportunity by itself.
The fog, the lights, the shadows, the twinkling sun off the water, and the rust colored craggy rocks... it all comes together so wonderfully.
