Fotos mit Vektoren faszinieren mich total, aber oft stimmt die Mischung nicht und die Vektorgrafiken werden zum Selbstzweck, oder zu unsinnigem Zierrat, mit ornamentalem charackter. Hier garrit, ist aber alles genau richtig. Diese Runden Streifen stehen in Formverwandschaft zu den organischen Γsten und die Pfeile sind ein gelungener Kontrast. Die Mischung machts!

Can i just say how BLOWN AWAY i am by this image. I just finished reading this book by Neil Gaiman (author of the Sandman series) entitled American Gods & in that book there is mention of a "World tree" something that borders on being an actual object in reality yet also being something completely imaginary at the same time.. and your picture is EXACTLY how i imagined how that tree, that place, & that circumstance would look like.. amazing... just amazing...

I love the concept and the design is just so amazing.
The lines progressively move from the natural branches of the tree into the supernatural spirals and lines that branch off the branches and the arrows add to the expressive quality!
where did you get the original pic? it's very sharp.
It's funny that you say come down to earth, b/c there is earth in the manip and even in the dreamlike worlds we create, there are elements of truth and reality, so separating fact from fantasy is quite teh challenge when they imitate one another.

i find this image highly inspiring.... for a long time i have felt that the trees often have more personality then the people im forced to spend everyday life with....
this image adds a manmade layer of beauty using the same languauge as the natural.
im very curious of the process behind this composition.
