Haven't commented on your art-works for a while. Maybe because they were a bit weird for me. But pretty unusual for you. It is nice to see you trying your skills in different styles of art.

However, today something bright, cute and beautiful caught my eye. And that was your turtle. Man, I haven't seen anything of that kind in your gallery before. I'm not sure if I'm right, but this turtle is the first cute character in your gallery ever! ( your cute yellow smilies don't count ) It's sarcastic face, very well detailed house ( unfortunately, I don't remember this word in English, but you know what I mean ) and very warm combination of colours make this turtle look so adorable!

Funny thought: if deviantART had name like pokemonART, then I would definitely say that this turtle is upgraded version of your mascot, octopus Osmi.



I would also like to see this turle engaged in some kind of scene. For example, a lake with some cute animals including this cute turtle, or a middle of nowhere with tonns of sand and sunlight. That would be cool. Animation would also rock!

Overall, this cute character is a very good cooperaton between two marvellous artists. I'm looking forward to see some more cooperations from you.

Recent works were kinda "something instead of nothing". I wasn't suprised having not many comments. I just had no ideas what to do and was turning back to my old stuff.

Being not very good at original drawings I'm trying myself in cooperations rather often... And I'm really glad this one is so succesfull.

I was thinking about animated version but I think I won't get back to it.

Turtles/tortoises are my favorite animals. This one looks sad, but cute. I like the texture of the shell. The feet look a bit odd to me, I realize the whole picture is out of proportion intentionally, but the feet should probably be a little shorter. Unless it's a ballerina tortoise.

You could actually make a "doll base" out of this for yourself and start making all kinds of different turtles (like in this ASCII collection of mine: [link] ), would be much cooler than those boring curly-haired babies in a pink dress, red dress, blue dress etc.
