Description
The Twinboom was an early Carrier in use by the Rebellion, originally built for the Clone Wars as an experimental vessel it was too late for the war and as it did not fit with the new Tarkin Doctrine the Twinboom was destined for the scrapyard had it not been for an early defector. This defector and his allies would steal the Twinboom before it could be disarmed and sold for scrap. The Defectors would later be captured after they attempted the same stunt later however the Twinboom would not be found afterwards and the defectors never revealed where the Escort Carrier was stashed away, the Twinboom would later be discovered by the grew of the Ghost following the Battle of Yavin as they sought out a new base for the Rebellion. The Twenty year old escort carrier had been landed on a ocean planet as the crew left to acquire more vessels to fight the empire, however as the crew never returned the Escort Carrier was left planetside for two decades. The Vessel would later be rescued from the planets surface, though it would need a good deal of repairs due to the large amount of corrosion that had occured over it's time spent planetside and would end up missing out of the Battle of Endor. Following the formation of the New Republic, the Twinboom would end up being used to train new craft for a time before it would be requisitioned by Sabine Wren and Ahsoka Tano to seek out their wayward missing friend Ezra Bridger. That would be thet last of the Twinboom that any had seen after it's departure, the fate of the old escort carrier is still unknown to this date.
