Description
The Interceptor was a light Star Cruiser design produced by Republic Sienar Systems during the Clone Wars and by Sienar Fleet Systems during the days of the Empire, the Interceptor was intended to carry a large complement of standard starfighters or specialized starfighters to further supplement Republic Battlegroups. During the days of the Galactic Empire, these ships were known to field two wings of TIE Fighters during combat scenarios or a single wing during peace time operations and had a decent armament that allowed them to engage small to medium sized rebel ships.
