Almost looks like rule 63 of Starscream. But I guess any jet could look like a starscream clone.

It would be of Skywarp if it was rule 63 He's the black one.

But given the description of her of 'a female Starscream with the markings of the TurboKat' she should look like him.

That was probably wishful thinking for the most part. I've always liked the idea of a female starscream. Especially shipped up with one of the autobots in a "we don't have to tell anyone about this" kind of scenario. heh heh. Hmm have you written anything like that?

Amazingly enough, given I've been fascinated with TF for 30 years, Wonderer's Home is the first TF story I've even started. Given how well it's going, there will be more, and those are likely to be canon characters for the most part, not my OCs.

OC's are great when they are well done and thought out. But accurate storytelling with established characters is its own challenge. How many writers have you read that pretty much made their own version of their favorite characters and put them in a story that is only loosely based on something you know well? Probably a great many unless you completely avoid those types of writers.

Agreed on the OCs. They can be great or horrible, one dimensional or as developed as any.

I know I've written stories where it didn't seem like the original chars at all. Usually because they are very long and the characters change over the course of it, but sometimes I just write badly. Not everything even a great writer puts down is good, and I'm not a great writer.

My real test of whether a story of mine is well-written and in-character or not is if I can read it repeatedly and enjoy it. Those I can I consider good stories.

we should talk more. we seem to have a few important things in common. Namely we're writers, love furry art and writing, and hate art thieves. Most people hate art thieves on principle though. I'm also a transformers fan but only casually. I like fan art and such when I see it. I watched the show when I was a kid and had some nice toys. I even had battle beasts and I didn't know till recently that they were part of the transformers line of toys. I think battle beasts got me into furry early on even though I didn't know what a furry was till like 1998 when I started using the internet a lot.
