Yes, a comic for my most loathed quest: kill Paarthunax (thank god you can skip this quest!)I obviously side with Paarthunax because if it between an awesome dragon, who is voiced by Mario, btw, which makes him the coolest dragon ever!!!!!! (sorry Spyro
) and two shitty nords who only give you heavy ass armor, a sword with a decent enchantment for elder dragons, but you can steal that and the armor, and a useless potion. And don't get me started with the blade recruits! I love the idea of fighting dragon with three, or four if you have someone following you, of your followers, but they are ONLY used for dragon battles, they don't follow you around Skyrim, which sucks!!!phew sorry about the rant! I never cussed that much, or at all in my description. well anyways, the reason why they both have really dumb facial expressions is because I originally drew them with serious expression, but I hated how Esbern is just standing there contributing nothing, so for him to contribute to the comic, i gave him that facial expression, then i gave Delphine it too cause I hate that bitch!!!
people who sided with Paarthunax, hope you get a good kick out of this!! and everyone else too!^^

I smashed Esbern's head with a warhammer when he told me that, then i casted a paralyzed spell of Delphine, then i ran rollicking like a boss.

I never liked the Blades in Skyrim after I killed Alduin. I almost wanted to kill Esbern and the other one in the temple with the Dragonwall. Still this is pretty funny XD

When I got this quest, I just thought "Fuck the blades !". "Team Dickhead" really fits them XD.
Even after 707 hours in skyrim, I've never gone past that quest ^^.

same here. If it was a choice between the Greybeards and Paarthunax four Nords and an awesome dragon trying to help you master the voice or the Blades, two idiots who see you nothing more than a tool, I'd choose the Paarthunax and the Greybeards.

Delphine and Esbern ticked me off by practically commanding me to kill such an awesome old dragon. So I broke my character's stiff moral codes, snuck back into Sky Haven Temple and made off with EVERYTHING. They have no weapons of any kind, no pelts, heck not even a wooden bowl is left in the place. Would've stole their equipped goods as well but my character doesn't have the perk to do so.

Used to have second thoughts for Paarthunax but in the end i still murder him and suck that goody soul of his for my own use mostly because i already got all the Word Walls in Skyrim and those Greybeards pretty much useless to me now, im having more fun hunting down dragons with my Blades buddies.

I hope that one day Bethesda will answer my wish where you bring Delphine and Esbern to the throat of the world and Paarthunax talks to them saying the same that he said to ur chracter 'what is better to be born good or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?' then they'd say oh ok and all would be forgiven or another quest instead of killing Paarthunax you could choose to sell Delphine and Esbern out to the Thalmor.

i noticed none of you actually take the legitimate issues into consideration.
paarthurnax admits his crimes AND his temptation to return to his old ways. however his wisdom and humility are admirable, and he proves to be fairly helpful against Alduin. he betrayed his own brother to help those who hated his kind, with good reason mind you, but that still takes a strong heart to take a risk like that
the blades are a society started by the akaviri warriors to end the rein of the dragons and serve the will of the imperial bloodline. paarthurnax, to the blades, is a safety risk to all of tamriel and possibly all of nirn. not only that, he was alduin's second in command. clearly he earned alduin's trust through actions alduin applauded. probably cruel and terrible actions.
the idea of divine justice is usually final. and in the eyes of most, such a creature would indeed deserve to pay for their crimes.
i personally like paarthurnax and admire his wisdom and conviction, but i do not condemn the blades for there cautious attitudes.

I just got to this point and even though I didn't want to kill Paarthunax, I still saved right after Alduin so I can at least see what the 3 options were. Even though I like ol' man Esbern (and his "Angry Derp Face" here), Delphine is just made of bitch and I was hoping that she would be the a betrayer. All so I'd get a quest to kill JUST her. But it doesn't seem that way.

oddly enough when i tried to stop the quest by talking to esbern in the blades hideout he just kept repeating the same thing -any suggestions on how i stop this quest WITHOUT killing paarthunax

yeah I tried doing the same. I tried telling the greybeards that I won't kill him and talking to Paarthunax (he won't attack unless you attack him first), then I tried going back to Esbern, but he says the same thing. so, I'm just ignoring the quest for now.

A friend of mine killed paarthanax for the blades quests. Dragon give you money anyway so i see no point in joining them.
