Next up is a doll for The Catwalk ; we're suppose to make up a fashion designer plus 2 models using specified bases.
So here I present my fashion designer character -- Maureen Halim! Head designer of the brand, ILAB (Bali spelled backwards -- her hometown). She's still casting her two new models...
I am so super proud of this doll -- probably one of my most drastic base edits so far. I shifted her shoulders cause they were too wide, made the waist a little more natural and gave her a completely different face shape. Oh I completely reshaded the base too -dies-
I like that she's not typical pretty, she's a little more aloof; a workaholic that hardly sleeps nor eat, hence the bony features.

Gauche, I love this. I think the prop version really pulls the whole piece together. She looks so determined! And I love the sketch on the table, it looks great! Have you created your model characters yet?

I haven't created the model characters yet, in fact I'm just dabbling with ideas here and there -- if you have any suggestions, I'd love to see what you have in mind

I think I've started mine the opposite of you! I'm making my models now and have no idea what to do with the designer but the catwalk is so much fun! I can't wait to start my collection! I'm going to do a Baroque Urban street wear type theme first. I noticed, it seems like almost half the models in The Book are from England, so I avoided that!

hahahaha gosh! My models are killing me XD And speaking about my designer, I feel like redoing her after seeing all the new awesome designers in there -lol-
I probably will just stick with her though, it took toooo long...
I'm looking forward to seeing your completed models and designer, plus your designs! I think they sound exciting
I'm making my models not from England as well haha... because the thought of making them from Europe never occurred to me... So far in my planning stages I have a Asian girl and a Blonde one; but hey who knows it might change!

I also saw it on Glam but there are allready so much good comments there I didn't think it would matter
but I think this doll is just phenomenal! you gave her such character by editing the base!
the colours are very nice and suit well together and well...the overall doll is just amazing! <3
