A cold chill seized her spine as she stared at the rocky ceiling high, high above her.
It had been a trap all along.
She thought that they were just trying to help her.
She thought that they were her friends...
But they had betrayed her. Gagged and bound her.
Her heart ached painfully as the tears strolled down her moistened cheeks.
They said they had a surprise for her.
A surprise waiting for her in the old grotto. And they did. But not the one that she was expecting.
The ropes seized her and lifted her tail free from the water. It was then that they gagged her. It was at that moment that the chained her wrists to the rocky floor.
"You surprise should be along shortly..." Judy, a blond mermaid coldly whispered in her ear. "The fisherman said that he can't wait to meat a real ningyo!" Her eyes widened as the truth dawned on poor trapped mermaid. "Enjoy your...dinner date!"
The laughter of her would be friends still echoed in her ears as she awaited her grim and uncertain fate...

Hey, if you're interested in any myths or legends, I'll tell you that I'm doing a Legends project! Starting tomorrow, I'm gonna submit all 120 artifacts on here! That's 40 treasures per season! The info includes the name of the artifact, the artifact's location, the team who took on the challenge, and the remaining time for when they made it out!
