Amazing detail so far! The only critique I would have is the area nearest to us - the muzzle - seems to have a slightly soft look underneath the nostril, around the mouth and under the chin, whereas there is sharper detail further up the head and on the body, giving it an out-of-focus effect. I think you just need to sharpen up the edge running under the chin and up the jaw, and also the mouth line and that little grey/shadowed area under the nostril, possibly using a little deeper shadow to up the contrast just a touch and make that area pop out more from what is behind, even if it means using a little artistic license and deviating from the ref, I think it would help a lot. It's a really nice job nonetheless

This image has in fact deviated a lot from the reference, so id be happy to add the details
