Crosshair's are simply just a line with the line tool placed vertically, copy and paste it and place it horizontally over to form the cross shape, merge together and just keep copying the image over and over....
The vertical line's are a combination of just line's placed together mixed with a little threshold balance to separate them....
Once you create markings like these you can just save them separately and use them whenever....

MGS beckons me! I've been using my Crying Wolf wallpaper for so long I decided to tweak one of the Snake drawings, I wanted a darker themed wallpaper to work on so . . . .
Yeah, I didn't give much thought to the placements of the butterflies, I'll prob add more creatures and crawlies mixed into the backdrop....
Well Snake could use practically anything as a deadly weapon so why not the soft bodies of a butterfly, would probably hurt if he jammed one of them in your eye
