I was actually talking from a competitive standpoint. Klefki's stats are pretty subpar, so the only real thing it's got going for it is Prankster.Β Under normal circumstances, a common Infernape will OHKO Klefki, no questions asked.
212 Atk Life Orb Infernape Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Klefki: 322-382 (101.2 - 120.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
There are a couple things it can do to prevent Infernape from thumping it.
1) Thunder Wave and hope for full paralysis (1 in 4 chance)
2) Swagger and hope for self-confusion (50/50 shot; this one can backfire, HARD)
3) Set up a Reflect in order to stall for a turn (and ONLY a turn)
4) Set up a Substitute (only delaying the inevitable, unless you got the confusion to work)
