Wilson sighed, his fingers removing his snug tie that seemed to have choked him the whole day. Conventions use to be fun, sometimes they were boring. But there was always something new to learn, something new that would help others or even perhaps a chance of a cure for most cancers.

But after that one faithful day, when he first met House threw those metal bars. Every convention he went to were so boring and seem to drag on. How much he wished House would go with him, he bet House would make this week go by faster.

But the day was done and he pouted, he still had four more days to go before he could go back home. The phone calls to House wasn't enough any more, he wanted his husband in front of him, he wanted to feel that scruff bread on his cheek when he nuzzled him, smell that sweet scent of Houses skin. He wanted House to yell at him to make food.

He was turning into a women!

But after a hot shower, his hands drying his hair with his towel. He stared at his night stand and gave a little smile. There his House doll sat, giving him that same questionable stare House always had. Wilson smiled to himself as he dressed into his baggy shirt and boxers, his body feeling the soreness of his day.

Reaching, he took the doll from the night stand and held it, his fingers brushing along the fabric of the shirt before touching the small cane. Who made them these? Who ever did it, they did a great job, it looked so flawless, if it weren;t for the button eyes. He could of really be holding a small House.

Looking the clock, he sighed a little. He needed to sleep. But for the past two nights, he felt restless. He would stretch and roll around on his bed trying to find a comfortable spot, trying to find that missing element to his sleepless nights. Staring at the doll in hand, he smiled sadly.

He was missing the warm body of House at his side.

"...He'll never find out." He muttered, knowing if House got this kind of information he would mock Wilson to no end. But House was miles away... His eyes searched around the room, as if he excepted someone to watching him as he slowly removed the small pill bottle and cane from the dolls hands. With a nod, he pulled the covered and settled himself, tucking his arm under his pillow. But with a sigh, he held the doll closer to him, pulling the covers to cover not only him but the doll as well.

He laid there for a moment, feeling almost childish, but his nose sniffed and he smelt an old sweet scent. Pulling the doll closer, the hair tickling Wilsons nose, he smiled warmly, the doll smelt just like House. It was like someone took Houses cologne and sprayed it with it.

Closing his eyes, he hugged the doll tightly, his mind slowly began to fade to black, but before he slipped off to sleep, he whispered, "...Night House..."

House grumbled, his hand scratching at his exposed belly, his shirt wrinkled and rised at his rib cage. The covers were knocked off, exposing him to the cold air causing him to stirr, his eyes opening slowly. He cursed and pushed himself up to his elbows. His thigh throbbed, warning him that an attack will come if he did not do something about it now. Reaching out blindly in the dark, he searched for his pill bottle, finding its rattling relief on his night stand. With a pop and gulp, he took two pills and began to roll himself back onto his side to settle back into his sleep.

But he paused for a moment before letting out a curse. Reaching down, his fingers grabbed the covered he had tossed aside and pulled them back up, over to cover the object that laid across from him.

Closing his eyes, House nuzzled into his pillow as his Wilson doll laid across, his big brown eyes watching him, nuzzled safely under the covers. Smoothing the covers over the doll, House fingers found themselves brushing along the soft hair of the doll as he whispered into the darkness. "Night Wilson..."
