Someone's fan theory is that this kid's Boom the Cat obsession is a sendup of Chris-chan

I would love to see the theory. I went to the 'security' site and heard all the audio files, saw all the images and videos, read all the text, and played Boomy the Cat game. I can see a lynk.Β

it was a Tumblr post from some sort of *chan, but they seemed to equate aspects of the entire scenario to aspects of autism.
personally, I agree with the connection ... that it has to that drug from Unedited Footage of a Bear

I'll look it up then. In the universe they have a fictional disease and/or condition called Lynks. It is confirmed that subject 3 (Madison or the teen girl on the floor of the video posted online and apparently on the air.) has it. The mother, Anne (subject 1), has the family tested. I think the father, Todd?, has it as well. It behaves odd in other videos. Lynks could very well be a link to autism.

basically it starts out as just that, but then it suddenly turns into an ad for an allergy medication calledΒ Claridryl which has some ... interesting side effects.
Then, did you see ths Sculptors' Clayground video? www.youtube.com/watch?v=453wgs⦠He mentions that working with clay helped him "cure" his lynks, but he was also in prison, and has a seemingly violent method of working the clay, meaning that this Lynks might not be a real disease. But then the phasing through the floor part...

I saw the Sculptors Clayground video. It was oddly beautiful. The world that THHPII is set it makes it seem that Lynks is a a real disease, but this could possibly be a reference to real life mass misdiagnosis of people in the early 1940's to 1960's when humans were barely delving into psychology and ethics.
The sculptor of Sculptor's Clayground seems to hint at other violent tendencies in his past, especially with their feelings on Sam. On his website he claims that clay has cured him, but also that clay carries Lynks. It is also stated on his website that Lynks passed through the air. I read through that theory you linked to. So the Clayground site backs up this Lynks possible connection to Claridryl, it seems to anyways. Like other medicines it can affect people differently. Especially, if possibly everyone in that world has been exposed to it. We've seen addicts. It's cool to see these connections are tying up. I hope the creator will release more.
I was reading on Adult Swim's subreddit under This House Has People In It. I didn't see many theories there, however. People posted patterns, such as there might be some significance to the time 4 A.M.Β
