Description Windsbraut (German),
Bride of the wind (english)
Novia del viento (espaΓ±ol)

sculpture made from a rotten root of an oak tree felled by a storm.
As I like the weathered surfaces of the rotten wood, I always wanted to work with these woods.
Here the result.
She reminds of the blowing figures drawn in childrens books showing the wind.

Dimensions: 33 x 29 x 14 cm

Thanks, Stephen! This was really fast. I had submitted the shot only one minute earlier!
I admit, this is one of the pieces, I am really proud of. The wood is exceptional beautiful, as well as the weathered stuff.
