My all time favourite - Nightcrawler.I remember the first time I saw this guy in a marvel book when I was a kid. He just seemed to stand out from the page to me more than any other character I had ever seen.
Its hard to describe but there's just something about the design of Nightcrawler that my brain interprets as pure awesomeness.
So the last time I drew him I was about 9 or so. On a big A3 sheet of paper, I spent hours on it. When I had finally finished, I put the pencil crayons away and off I went to show my family my master piece. But when I got out into proper light and looked down I could see that I had used a brown crayon instead of red for the bulk colouring of his suit!
A brief panicked attempt to colour over it in red just wasn't working and I got very upset and ripped it up in a rage that only a 9 year old can!
And the moral of this story is......Always make sure you are under a decent light source before you start colouring!
So here I am......back for another stab at it, 20 years later
. Using a computer this time for the colours
