I work very hard on being able to that..but...^^'

Thanks! This was done with an old Micron brush marker if I recall correctly.

Nice, Tim. Love me some Nightcrawler. Interesting about the "people watching" problem. I have it too. I feel like I'm performing or something. Like they're expecting something amazing to happen and it's a lot of pressure. I'm sure it's only pressure we put on ourselves, but it's definitely real.

Cool piece Tim!
I know what you mean about people watching though. Takes me time to get used to it and I never completely do. Hard to do your best work when your focus is divided.

I literally just freeze up. Its wierd because Im not shy in the least. I have no problem with people, crowds, or getting up on a stage and belting out some Karaoke. I just dont know why I freeze up when working. And thanks!!

Heh... I can't stand to be watched either. So I tell them to go away for a while or make them talk to my writer.

amazing as always..do you use curves on his tail?can i ask a tip if how can i avoid a shaky hand?thanks

TimTownsend In reply to treybor [2008-07-11 15:49:01 +0000 UTC]
I dont think I used a curve on this. I dont take stuff like that to conventions. As for the shaky hand thing, I wish someone could help me with that. I have a lot of problems with that. It usually subsides after Ive been working for a while but it drives me nuts.

When drawing? No. If Im inking a gradation of lines that like 5 inches long I might bust out a curve though.
As for my shaky hands, I recently injured my back pretty badly and, as a result, it looks like I might have some nerve damage. The docs' say it will subside. Lets hope theyre right. You might want to consult a Chiropractor and get your spine checked out. Sometimes neck problems can cause this.

Thanks for posting your work on DA every once in a while, it's like christmas when the pros give us that inside peak at their work. Thanks again! (offers pancakes)

I hate when people watch me draw, too. I always screw something up and want to just scrape whatever it is - but you've got these people staring at you... I don't know how people can do it...
