Very nice :] I love the two-mirror effect. I love stuff like that. They make me look twice. Same as your other piece. The one of a road taken from high up and you put typography on the asphalt... cept I can't find it now because you have two many deviations. But I like this kind of style :]
I got 4 missed calls from home last night. My cellphone was upstairs and I was down in the living room with Nico's dad and we were talking and watching TV... and I didn't call back home because I'm scared that they'll give me bad news in some way or the other :/ But I wonder how the renovations are going in that apartment, now that I look at this picture. I hope I never have to go back to that "family" :D

Ok, for this, this wasn't due to the "corruption". I always preferred to call it "apartment" rather than "flat", just coz it sounds nicer in my opinion. I didn't know it was an American term till much later, actually.

Ya. It's hard. I mean I've been here for 2 months. One gets affected.

I thought "renovation" was more of a universal term, like it's not particularly Brit or American. I am making an extra effort in paying heed to my accent though, at least.

yep... but refurbishment is common in the uk, and in american refurbish doesn't have the meaning of fixing up a building. <_<

It's funny because in American terms, "tarmac" is what they use for landing strips.
