I really like his expression, ir's somewhere between.. enjoyment and apathy? xD hard to describe. I also like the colour of the blood, it looks realistic.
That said, the blood could use some more details to avoid being just a huge block of red

Yes, I completly redid this one. This one looks so much better, but yeah there are some issues. I didn't really dare to google blood, you never know what will show up, but I found some pictures that helped a little.
But I couldn't find what I was really looking for, for how the shine on blood looks like for example.
Apathy is probably the feeling, or close to it that I wanted to portray, so it seems I succeeded.
I didn't want the viewer to get distracted by the background, but I could definatly have done something more with the blood close to the body.

Ah yeah, I'd also not want to google "blood" :c In that scenario, you COULD get someone who is not grossed out by it to google refs for you though xD to pick out some of the more tasteful ones.
