Something I started when I had no inspiration just to draw something. I actually pretty happy with the result. Mostly I used a very smooth brush here, usually I use a harder one.ΒPlayed around with the background a little with some custom brushes. I tried to add more saturation in the face, the ears as well, but didn't want to overdo it. I hope it's about right.

He's very pretty :3 I think you could have gone harder on the shadows though ^^ the light is maybe a bit too diffuse? Since he is below the trees, the shadows would be darker, and maybe his face would even have a light pattern (shining from the leaves). A custom brush might be good for that ^^Β

Haha, didn't think about that at all, being under the trees and harder shadows. For this one I just wanted to paint and I didn't think much about anything, but now that you mention it it all makes sense.

That's okay, sometimes you have to make relaxed pictures aswell, not thinking much etc.

I'd use it as the textbook illustration for a Sylvan Elf. Β Very delicate without being fragile, lovely skin tone.
