Description
This is what I do and don't you blame meBecause I realize
That I paint what I feel with words
Red, blazing red
Blue, a cold, deep dark
Yellow, a burst here and there
That I write the vividness of it all with colors
stealing from the slivers of dawn
from the plume of night
and from the flighty temptress, sunset
And I draw what I know with the lines
etched in my body
in my wrinkles,
in my scars,
in the hollows under my eyes,
from sorrow,
from guilt,
from shame,
from anger,
from helplessness,
until it forms a bigger picture
which shows nothing else
but me.
