And what colors did you use for the fabric paint?

So do you need to do anything special when washing this? And how long do you need to wait for the paint to dry before you iron it? Also, I'm just planning on wearing this around, so what should I use instead of the snow spray so that it's washable?

with the snow spray its it like a white paint that comes out or like glitter that u put onto the hoodie when ur done doing the lines

Gekroent In reply to fishlover31 [2014-09-24 06:47:52 +0000 UTC]

It's the spay.
But you can also use white fabric paint d apply it with a spnge to give it the snowy effect

Where did you buy this hoodie? I'm having a hard time finding a small size in the right color.

Gekroent In reply to E-Kathryn [2014-08-21 18:08:02 +0000 UTC]

I bought it at a local clothes shop, "C&A". That one had the most accurate color. I tried a "Fruits of the Loom" hoodie too but those are way too dark.

E-Kathryn In reply to Gekroent [2014-08-21 19:12:21 +0000 UTC]

Thank you for the quick response, unfortunately it looks like C&A only ships to Europe, and if they don't I don't feel like going through the trouble. I was going for darker so I'll look into the "Fruits of the Loom" Thanks again!

There's one for 10$ on amazon. JUst search navy blue hoodie.

Yes, the "ultramarine" ones from Fruits are a bit darker, so if you prefer this one I can recommend it

Do you think that a fine layer of white spray paint could work instead of snow spray? Β It would be washable that way too. Great tutorial by the way c:

Gekroent In reply to euphoticzone [2014-05-08 16:37:02 +0000 UTC]

I honestly don't know. I know some textile sprays which could work but I have never tried it myself.
I haven't thought about it either tbh, I've never worn the cosplay again and therefor never thought about it

Did you have to buy all three of the glitter liners shown in the picture or do you just need the
Marabu 570 25 ml Glitter Liner, White?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Gekroent In reply to DCFanGirl [2014-05-08 00:23:33 +0000 UTC]

It is pretty hard to find a reference pic of the liner. That's the only proper one I found - I only used ONE of the 570 white one

Jollypippers [2014-03-26 15:19:10 +0000 UTC]

This is so awesome!! Ok so I bought myself a hoody and the glitter liner pen in silver.. How the hell did you get the lines to be so THIN? When I use the pen it just comes out really thick and gloopy, no matter what I do :/ Gonna have to start again.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Gekroent In reply to Jollypippers [2014-03-26 16:03:04 +0000 UTC]

Heya, glad you got the pen!
I just used very little pressure on the pen so that the lines were really, really fine (that's why it took me one week to paint AND the lines are rather transparent for the ice-look).Β
Better take a blank fabric you won't need anymore and do some practice until you have the perfect amount of pressure.

The pen says that it is permanent when you iron it. I haven't tried it out but I am quite optimistic that it stays on. Still I would only wash it with hands and not machine
