This has some beautiful pure colors to it. You've done an excellent job. It feels like a scene from Grapes of Wrath or maybe of Mice and Men.... or from any of John Steinbeck's novels. Where was this taken at?

Grapes of Wrath... didn't think of it like that till now. This is just a shot out in the country, but the sunset was one of those sunsets that seems to illuminate everything in a orange/tan kind of way. Thanks for the comment

It's a nice picture but it seems a little grainy. Considering it's taken with the rebel I don;t know why.

Fantastic colours, especially its natural! I think it would be nice if the trees in the middle can move more to the left of the image, to make the image more balanced. The position of the sun at the right edge is really nice, and it will be perfect if those tree weren't there. Maybe cropping out the left side, some of the foreground vegetation and a little bit of sky? Its hard to describe it...

I know!! It was just one of those spur of the moments where I saw the color of the sun setting was giving off and had to pull my friend and jet out to the country. Funny part of this is when I parked on the side of the road (slanted) she went rolling out of my car when the dummy opened the door!!
