Wow. I finally finished this, though it only took me about a day...not sure how many hours.I wanted to try my hand at drawing something else besides cartoons and anime, so I drew a wolf. This was done using a Wacom Intuos 2 tablet in Photoshop CS4. It was actually my first time at drawing an actual wolf, and it took me forever how to figure out how to make the fur look realistic enough.
The background was kinda rushed because I have a really bad headache right now, so I'll probably redo it later.

I saw wolves at a zoo a while ago. They took my own breath away, they were so beautiful. Timber wolves, I believe.

Yeah, I learned bat wings early on, but only a year ago did I add the features of the bony fingers. Drawing Aggranium taught me a better way of drawing claws, but I don't use it much XD

It looks really good Gem-I was going to try drawing a realistic wolf or husky on photoshop sometime soon.
How did you do the nose and mouth? *has never done lineless on photoshop except for a few quick and easy pictures*

Can you believe I did the fur strokes one-by-one? Oo You have no idea how long they take.
Um, well I did have a reference picture, but - like a speedpaint - you just block in the main colours and then go over them with lighter shades until they look fairly accurate. xD
Oh, and if you wanna know, I had a look at this tutorial to help me with the fur problem. (I could not for the life of me draw fur before today)
