These were made in January and February of this year.

I was having a real JSAB kick at the start of this year, and I also wanted to amp up my humanoid skills. So I managed to make three during that time, Sevcon, Art of War, and HYPE.

Sevcon is for the most part a very calm and soft-spoken shape. He’s an aspiring dancer, and all his friends say he could possibly be the most graceful dancer in all of Paradise. He gets quite embarrassed from those comments, however. Sevcon lives up in the sky, but he frequently comes to the ocean to visit his younger cousin, Art.

Art is a mellow shape of little words who lives in the ocean. They’re a younger cousin of Sevcon, and they consider the great Lunar Whale as their best friend. They really love creating art and love to show their artwork to all the other residents of Paradise’s oceans.

There’s a lot of hype surrounding Hype. He’s a very popular shape, known for his fun and electric singing performances, and his energetic persona. He likes to be a big old goofball, from making silly faces, to doing funny dances. He’s got a pretty dedicated fanbase, and often when Hype advertises something, his fans are almost certainly going to check it out.

Looking back I definitely overdesigned their clothes. Plus Hype has legs for days.
