The process in learning is long and aggravating lol. If you saw me do it it might look easy xD. It's really just a matter of placement and being familiar with tools in photoshop.

how do you put your render over the bacground render without it overapping it? did you trace all the lines (that im guessing you made in c4d) and cut them out then paste them on the background?? i always wondered how its done

Yeah that's pretty much what happened, you just render them separately and then make a mask for your layer above so when you brush you can go in front and behind it.

Well it all starts with a 3d program you can use to make these abstract renders, and then you do some brushing in photoshop however you can imagine how
