Crossover Fusion: Donkey Kong Country x Super Mario Sunshine + Splatoon
The Kongs got wind of the powerups Mario uses and decided to take some for themselves. Tagging along with DK, Diddy sought to have Mario’s F.L.U.D.D., and after stealing it, he brought it to Cranky and Funky to have his own model. Once it was finished, the Quick Kong returned Mario’s device and enjoyed his reverse-engineered gadget. Using the fruits from the Juicy Jungle of their last adventure, Diddy’s device is powered by the pools of juice found from that island’s factory instead of water. He’s able to propel himself upwards and forward with the slippery liquid, causing those caught in its wake to be surrounded by the messy juice. Needless to say, there’s a lot of tripping involved when Diddy uses this. He has no need to worry however, since Cranky designed for him a special pair of gloves and sneakers that prevents him from slipping or getting sticky. Good luck to everyone else!
But it didn’t end there; Diddy then learned of the inklings, and like a moth to the flame, he found himself fascinated with their guns, and Funky did as well. Shortly thereafter the two raided the Ammo Knights Armory and stole some weapons, but most notably the Hero Shot Replica’s blueprints. This gave them a basis for how to make inkling-inspired guns, and more importantly, guns that they could tweak to fit their preferred specs.
While Diddy chose the rare tech side of Mario Powerups, what did DK choose? Find out one day...
